General Motors: BuyPower Card
The Problem
GM Card had enhanced their business model to include 3 unique credit cards. These cards would offer the most attractive earnings and benefits to each customer base. The client wanted all advertising deliverables redesigned to best fit the new direction. My team was tasked to focus on all the digital deliverables which included the website, social media, banners and emails.
Our Proposal
Design a new look and feel that promotes the visual aesthetic of the new credit cards. Transition the old website into a fully responsive website. Create value propositions and banner adds to help sell the value of these card options. Create a robust compare tool that will easily explain the differences between each card. Include an interactive map that live populates actual people around the world obtaining and using their earnings. Introduce card member stories to showcase real people and how they take advantage of their rewards.
My Role
As the Sr Digital Art Director, I worked closely with cross functional teams to lead the Creative Direction and UI Design for these experiences. Our team included Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Project Managers, Content Strategists, User Experience Designers, User Interface Designers, Developers and Data Analysts.
